In the Theater of the Senses we gathered together with the objects that we had to suddenly leave behind from one day to the next. The desolation was so great that we asked ourselves: How to return the soul to the body?
At that moment we remember the medieval saying "while man thinks, God laughs."
We also remember the response that Keats gave to his brother, due to the despair he felt living in a heartless and destructive London that gave no hope.
Keats tells him: - you idiot! the soul must be built! Don't take it for granted! - We affirm: It's true! Pick and shovel! The soul is built like someone who builds a garden.
So we encouraged ourselves, does the soul exist? Can it be recovered? And if so, who cares about the soul?
Can you live without a soul?
And so this Almario was born with artifacts to build souls.
Teatro de los Sentidos is a theater company founded and directed by Enrique Vargas that has been located in El Polvorí de Montjuic (Camí del Polvorí s/n.) since 2005 thanks to the transfer of use that the City Council made to the Company for a period of 20 years. The director and the group of artist-researchers are highly valuable assets in the contemporary performing arts sector of Catalonia and have notable international recognition, being ambassadors of Barcelona at an international level.
The poetic experiences he creates and offers are of notable public value. In her research work and with the community, these multicultural values are reflected in the artistic result .
